We still have available Purebred Red and Black Angus heifers for sale by private treaty.
The main event at Pretty View Stock Farm is our Bull and Female Sale held the 1st Sunday in April every year. April 6, 2008 marks our 10th Annual Sale.
We have on offer 45-50 Black and Red Bulls and 10-20 Black and Red open heifers.
The sale is held right on the farm and is a much more laid-back affair than some may be used to.
The animals are penned in groups. There is a minimum pen price. The animals are then auctioned to the highest bidder. Any animal that does not bring the minimum price is returned to the pen and is available for sale at the average price of the pen.
Our sales have averaged $1950-$2500 per bull over the years. We have also sold out of bulls three years running. 60% of our customers are repeat buyers and 90% of our bulls sell in a 100 mile radius of the farm.
We offer guaranteed sight unseen purchasing through ourselves or Chris Poley our auctioneer - (306) 244-8181, Saskatoon. We also provide phone bidding service when arrangements are made in advance.
Free delivery, breeding guarantees, free board to May 1st after the sale, and a bull for use during your breeding season should anything happen to your purchase. We will not leave a customer in a bind for any reason.
Insurance is available on sale day from Livestock Insurance Managers, and is a must if cattle are left for delivery later.
